As part of the Project’s Phase II, The Innovation Center will offer a 3,250 SF “Community Lab” facility, which will include 6 BSL-2 wet labs, equipped to meet or exceed FDA, NIH, CDC, and ISO Standards. The CoLab will also include permits, waste handling, and all reasonably common lab equipment including:
- Autoclave decontamination washer and wet prep area
- Deionized water, vacuum, compressed air and gas supply
- BSC Class 2 hoods in ISO Class 6 suites
- Centrifuges, refrigerators, freezers, storage facilities, cleanroom work surfaces
Other Features:
Flexible Lease Terms, access to conference rooms, event space, and kitchens contained withing the innovation center, as well as VelocityTX’s continuous education, mentoring, and technical assistance services targets to biosciences startups
